The National Museum of Kazakhstan is the largest exhibition space in the city and the first stop for nearly every touring project. The EXPO complex doubles as an exhibition centre, hosting the big industry and multimedia shows.
The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation and the Palace of Independence add halls for themed exhibitions. Large projects run on timed entry, and a fixed-time ticket spares you the cloakroom and security queue.
